Eid perfume gift guide for the UAE: what to give, and to whom
6 Oct 2026 · 4 min read · Al Fattah Perfume, Dubai
Perfume is the default gift in the Gulf for a reason: it is personal without being intimate, it suits every age, and a good 100 ml bottle lasts a year. The only mistake people make is choosing the family they like rather than the one the recipient already wears. This guide fixes that.
By recipient
- Parents and elders — mukhallat or amber. Traditional, warm, instantly recognisable as a considered gift. Choose the 100 ml.
- A host at iftar — a rose oud or saffron oud in 50 ml, which can be shared on the majlis table with guests.
- Colleagues and clients — musk or a fresh citrus: safe, clean and office-appropriate. The 50 ml is the right size.
- A partner — a gourmand or floral for her, a woody or leather for him, in 100 ml with a handwritten note at checkout.
- Children and teenagers — a fresh aquatic blend; light enough for school and easy to re-spray.
Timing for the UAE calendar
Ramadan 2027 begins around 8 February, with Eid al-Fitr around 9 March and Eid al-Adha around 16 May. Order at least four working days before the holiday — courier volumes double in the final week and deliveries across the emirates take 2 to 4 working days. UAE National Day on 2 December and Mother's Day on 21 March are the other two gifting peaks.
Prices and delivery
Every blend is AED 49 for 50 ml and AED 79 for 100 ml; the signature oud and musk line is AED 150 for 100 ml. Delivery is AED 15 across all seven emirates and free over AED 200, with cash on delivery, so a gift can be sent directly to the recipient's door.
